In Focus: Crude Oil Prices

While the world watches the markets collapse following the recent announcement of reciprocal tariffs by the USA, I find myself regularly checking crude oil prices. Although the impact of the new tariffs may be somewhat limited for Kazakhstan, one cannot overlook the fluctuations in crude prices due to their significance for our economy.

While the daily futures prices volatility remains within historical ranges and pales in comparison with COVID times, the direction over the past month is hard to ignore.
